Paris Saint-Germain have been keeping tabs on Osimhen for a while. Furthermore, with the summer transfer window approaching, talk about the striker’s future is picking up.
According to a recent report from GIVE ME SPORT, Manchester United are becoming increasingly concerned about PSG’s growing interest, with the French side now seen as the frontrunner to sign the 26-year-old.
PSG are reportedly ready to meet both Osimhen’s wage demands and his £63 million release clause, giving them a financial advantage in the race. The report also notes that United and Chelsea now view PSG as their main competitor in the chase.
That said, The Athletic’s David Ornstein previously reported that Osimhen wasn’t part of United’s transfer plans for the upcoming window—though that stance may be shifting.

On Tuesday, TBR Football reported, citing sources, that Liverpool have Osimhen as one of two targets that they are considering to bolster their No. 9 position this summer. Furthermore, the outlet’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, has confirmed that Liverpool have done work on a move for Osimhen from Napoli.
The report also confirms that Osimhen desires a move to the Premier League. While the player wants a move to England and clubs in that country have an edge in securing the talented striker, Napoli reported have no desire to budge from their asking price.
Osimhen has a release clause of around £60 million this summer, and Napoli aren’t keen to let him go for anything less—even with his contract running down.
Foot Mercato reported Monday that the Premier League is the only league with the financial muscle to meet Osimhen’s hefty salary demands—around €12 million per year. That puts Manchester United in a strong position to land him.
Still looking for a reliable No. 9, United have reportedly drawn up a shortlist of four targets. Osimhen is reportedly eager to join Manchester United, with a recent meeting between his camp and the club signaling strong interest from the Red Devils.
The report also notes that signing him won’t come cheap. Napoli are expected to demand more than €75 million, including bonuses.
