Bournemouth will demand £45m to part ways with Liverpool-linked left-back Milos Kerkez, a report has revealed.
The Cherries paid around £15m to sign Kerkez in the summer of 2023 under former techincal director Richard Hughes, who has since taken charge at Anfield and has been heavily tipped to pursue a reunion with the Hungary international this summer.
With two goals and six assists to his name this season, Kerkez has been among the Premier League's best left-backs and is expected to be a key target for Liverpool. When asked about a possible switch to Anfield, the 21-year-old did not shy away from his dream to play at the highest level.
According to The Times, it will cost any interested parties £45m to sign Kerkez this summer, with the Cherries also demanding a cash-only deal.
There have been reports that Bournemouth are looking to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, but it is stressed that there would be no interest in a swap deal.
Bournemouth do not need to sell any of their top talents but recognise they are currently operating as a stage for young players to earn expensive transfers elsewhere, and so they will not stand in the way of anybody who looks to move on.
On top of Kerkez, Bournemouth are also braced for interest from Liverpool in winger Antoine Semenyo but, with four years remaining on his contract, he is likely to command a club-record fee if Bournemouth do sell.
Liverpool's interest in Kerkez stems from a down season from Scotland international Andy Robertson, who recently claimed he had been made a "scapegoat" in criticism from fans.
Robertson is prepared to fight for his place in Liverpool's starting lineup even if Kerkez does arrive this summer. Greek international Kostas Tsimikas is likely to be made available for sale.
