RESULTS

FULL TIME! Liverpool 3-2 Atlético de Madrid

Vidéos OneFootball

Virgil van Dijk's injury-time header gives Liverpool yet another late, late win this season and a winning start to their Champions League season.

WHAT A MISS!

Ekitike should have made it 4-2 but puts over Salah's cross when it seemed easier to score.

It's unlikely to matter at this point.

FULL TIME! BAYERN 3-1 CHELSEA

Harry Kane haunts the Blues once again as Bayern see off Chelsea on their return to the Champions League.

SIMEONE SENT OFF!

Diego Simeone is shown a red card for his protestations following Liverpool's goal.

FULL TIME! PSG 4-0 ATALANTA

All too easy for the champions, who showed why they are the team to beat.

GOOOAL! VAN DIJK DOES IT!!!

They've done it again!!!!

Dominik Szoboszlai whips in the corner, and Virgil van Dijk powers in a brilliant header to send Anfield wild.

Amazing.

FULL TIME! AJAX 0-2 INTER

Marcus Thuram's double gives Cristian Chivu the perfect start in the Champions League and a win on his return to Amsterdam.

GOOAL! PSG MAKE IT FOUR!

Gonçalo Ramos comes off the bench and does what he does best.

4-0, and it could have been so much more.

An ominous start from the champions.

Liverpool have scored late winners in all four of their league games so far this season.

Can they do the same tonight? Time is running out.

It really is quite remarkable.

GOOOAL! LLORENTE AGAIN!!!

Is it 2020 all over?

Marcos Llorente picks one out of the sky, and his shot deflects off Mac Allister and past Alisson.

Incredible.

Record breaker.

Barring some big turnarounds, PSG, Bayern and Inter will be starting their campaigns off with wins.

The question is whether Liverpool will too?

Olise almost makes it 4-1, but his fierce drive goes just past the post.

Chelsea on the ropes in Munich.

Kane got a brace against Chelsea on New Year's Day 2015, and has another over 10 years later.

His consistency is quite incredible.

GOOOAL! KANE DOES IT AGAIN!

Bayern back in charge just after the hour, and it's Kane again.

Gusto loses the ball under pressure, and it falls to the England captain who curls it around Robert Sánchez.

..

Arne Slot makes a triple change just 10 minutes into the second half, with Hugo Ekitike, Alexis Mac Allister and Conor Bradley on for Cody Gakpo, Alexander Isak and Jeremie Frimpong.

The next goal here is massive.

GOOOOOAL! GAME OVER IN PARIS!

If it wasn't over already, it is now as Nuno Mendes gets himself another Champions League goal.

It will be some side who topples the champions this season.

GOOOAL! INTER MAKE IT TWO!

Another corner. Another Thuram header.

The Inter striker rises highest to put last year's finalists in charge just two minutes into the second half.

BACK UNDERWAY!

What will the second halves have for us??

The hair might have changed, but Llorente just loves playing at Anfield.

Four in four for the striker so far this season.

HALF TIME!

And breathe...

Nine goals so far, and plenty more to come after the break.

GOOOAL! LLORENTE DOES IT AGAIN AT ANFIELD!

Just before the half-time whistle, and Atlético are right back in this game.

Marcos Llorente gets the goal, toepoking it past Alisson after the Liverpool offside line is breached.

It's not the first time he's scored at Anfield... who could forget 2020?

PENALTY MISSED!

It's a truly awful spot kick from Barcola, whose rolled effort is easily saved by Carnesecchi.

The one blot on an otherwise sensational first half from the champions.

PENALTY TO PSG!

GOOAL! INTER TAKE THE LEAD!

Moments after Yann Sommer makes a fine save from Mika Godts, Marcus Thuram heads home at the other end from a corner.

Deadlock broken in Amsterdam just before half-time.

GOOOAL! KVARA WITH A SCREAMER!

It was coming, and now it's come in stunning style as PSG make it 2-0.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the scorer, rocketing home a brilliant goal from outside the box to send the Parc des Princes wild.

Palmer won the Champions League as a bit-part player at Man City in 2022/23, and scored his one previous goal in that campaign.

He's now the main man at Chelsea, and his second goal will surely lead to a flurry over the coming years.

PENALTIES DENIED FOR LIVERPOOL AND INTER!

Two checks and two penalties not given.

At Anfield, Clément Lenglet was ruled to have handled the ball, but a review showed the ball hit his stomach.

At the Johan Cruyff Arena, Thuram was taken down but it was an incredibly light challenge, if even that.

CLOSE FOR INTER!

Marcus Thuram is inches away from giving Inter the lead in Amsterdam.

Surely we'll get a goal there soon?

GOOOAL! CHELSEA RIGHT BACK IN IT!

Cole Palmer - who else - comes to Chelsea's aid in their time of need.

It's a brilliant goal, as he runs from the half way line, gives it to Gusto before hammering the return ball high past Manuel Neuer.

What a game we have here!

GOOOAL! KANE MAKES IT 2-0 TO BAYERN!

Moises Caicedo fouls the England skipper just inside the box, and he dusts himself to make no mistake with a typically cool penalty.

A nice moment for the Spurs legend, and Bayern are in control out of nowhere.

DISALLOWED GOAL FOR PSG!

Bradley Barcola thinks he's made it 2-0 but he's adjudged to have been just offside when he slotted past Marco Carnesecchi.

Atalanta are lucky to still be in this game.

GOOOAL! BAYERN TAKE THE LEAD!

Trevor Chalobah is the unfortunate scorer but this goal is all about Michael Olise.

The one-time Chelsea youth star bamboozles Malo Gusto with some quick feet, and whips a ball into the box which the defender tries to clear but turns into his own net under pressure.

Advantage Bayern.

And here's the second.

Conor Gallagher might need to go prime Beckham to get his side back into this one.

Away from the stunning early goals, there's some interesting stats coming out of Anfield.

This is the first, as the Reds have a shade of Oranje.

Chelsea have started well in Munich, with Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurrella having early half-chances.

It's the Blues' first Champions League game since April 2023.

GOOOALS! LIVERPOOL HIT QUICKFIRE DOUBLE!

Incredible.

Andy Robertson gives the Reds the lead inside four minutes, as Mohamed Salah's free kick hits off him and goes in.

Just moments later, the Egyptian makes it two with a moment of magic.

Game over already?

GOOOAL! PSG TAKE THE EARLY LEAD!

Well, that didn't take long!

The champions are up and running inside three minutes, and it's the captain Marquinhos who's got the goal.

Atalanta lose the ball inside their own half, and Fabián Ruiz finds the centre-back inside the box for a tap-in.

KICK OFF!

And we're underway.

We're less than five minutes away from kick off in a blockbuster set of games in Paris, Liverpool, Munich and Amsterdam.

FULL TIME! Slavia Prague 2-2 Bodo/Glimt

The Norwegian new boys left it late but salvaged a draw thanks to Fet's astonishing goal in the last minute of normal time.

FULL TIME! Olympiacos 0-0 Pafos

Despite going down to 10 men on the half hour mark, Champions League debutants Pafos were exceptional in defence and held out for an impressive point.

We're going to have seven minutes of added time in Prague and six in Pireas.

Brunstad Fet was first to a loose ball inside the area and then volleyed against the underside of the crossbar. What a goal!

GOAL! Slavia Prague 2-2 Bodo/Glimt!

The Norwegian debutants have done it. A goal in the last minute of normal time has seen them equalise against the odds.

We're now into the final three minutes of normal time across both games. Are we going to get some late drama?

CHANCE!

Slavia almost get a third but Kusej's header is saved well. We've got eight minutes left here.

GOAL! Slavia Prague 2-1 Bodo/Glimt!

The Norwegian side are back in it with Bassi scoring at the second time of asking.

GOAL! Slavia Prague 2-0 Bodo/Glimt!

It's a repeat of the first goal with Mbodji ghosting in at the back post again and doubling his, and his side's, account for the evening.

Some history for Liverpool tonight ...

CHANCE!

From the resulting free kick Orsic just scrapes the crossbar for Pafos.

The referee has, sensibly in our own opinion, rescinded the red card and given a yellow instead to Taremi.

We're going to have a red card check against Olympiacos. It definitely looks like a foul from here. Are the Greeks about to go down to 10 men?

CHANCE!

Slavia could have added a second there but Doudera's first time effort goes just wide of the post.

CHANCE!

Bodo go close but a low cross across the box can't find anyone inside the area and Slavia clear their lines.

Olympiacos are struggling to find a way past 10-man Pafos. We've got just over half an hour to go and already there are some jeers from the home fans.

MISS!

Bodo have missed the penalty. And in truth it was a very poor one from Høgh.

PENALTY! After a lengthy check, Bodo have a penalty just seven minutes into the second half.

As with the first half, it's taking ages for the referee to actually go to the screen. He has finally done so now though.

Both games have restarted and we already have a huge penalty shout in Prague! We're about to have a second VAR check in this game with Bodo having a good shout for a spot-kick here.

The headline news from the XIs is Alexander Isak will make his debut for Liverpool! What a game to do it in.

In all the madness there we missed the Atleti XI ...

The team news for tonight's later games should be with us in the next 10 minutes ...

HALF TIME! Olympiacos 0-0 Pafos.

Pafos were reduced to 10 men midway through the half and were willing that whistle to come towards the end there. Olympiacos will more than fancy their chances of getting all three points after the break.

HALF TIME! Slavia Prague 1-0 Bodo/Glimt.

After a bright start, the Norwegian newcomers have struggled to cope with Slavia and, in truth, could have been further behind heading into the break.

And there'll be four minutes added on in Pireas.

We're going to have five minutes of added time in Prague after that VAR review.

No penalty! The referee seems to have given it as a foul to Bodo.

The referee is finally going to the screen. This will surely be given.

We're having a VAR penalty check in Prague. It definitely looks like a handball from the visitors.

Podence is really pulling strings for Olympiacos now. It looks like being only a matter of time before the Greek side get themselves in front.

Olympiacos midfielder Streffeza was lucky not to have his leg broken there. That was high, late and reckless from Bruno. Pafos will have to play the remainder of their Champions League debut with a man less.

RED CARD!

Pafos are down to 10 men after Bruno receives his second yellow of the evening after a shocking challenge.

CHANCE!

It's almost a second for Slavia but Chory can't connect to a deep cross from the right. Can Bodo respond here?

GOAL! Slavia Prague 1-0 Bodo/Glimt!

We have our first goal of the night as Mbodji ghosts in at the back post and scores for the hosts.

Patrick Berg has been the star of the show in these early exchanges for Bodo. The Norwegian side's captain has been everywhere in these first 20 minutes.

CHANCE!

Oh that's a golden opportunity for Bodo, with Elvjen racing into the area but seeing his close-range shot tipped over the bar.

Ten minutes gone in both games here and still goalless.

Last season's finalists, Inter, start their campaign against Ajax later tonight. You can read more about their return to European action here.

As expected, Stadio Georgios Karaiskakis is bouncing right now, but the Olympiacos fans have had very little to cheer about on the pitch at the moment. It's all been a bit turgid in the opening exchanges against Pafos.

Bodo/Glimt have been excellent in the first few minutes of their match in Prague. The Norwegian side reached the semi-finals of the Europa League last season and don't look out of place at all here.

Almost the first goal of the night but Paschalakis' miss-kick can't be turned in by Pafos midfielder Dragomir.

A slight delay in Pireas, but Olympiacos have now got things underway against Pafos too.

And it's kick off in the Champions League!

The teams are out in Athens and Prague.

A long trip for these boys and girls ...

And the sides from the Czech capital ..
