In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is on the radar of Real Madrid this off-season. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to sign the Dutch midfielder from the Reds in this summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old had an up-and-down season at the Merseyside club but managed to put in a run of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. Gravenberch made 50 appearances for the Reds in the previous campaign, scoring six times and securing six assists in various competitions.
The Dutch sensation is currently one of the most talented central midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, the Reds should focus on keeping hold of him for the long run.
His current contract at Anfield will run out in the summer of 2032, so Liverpool are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him in this summer transfer period.

Gravenberch is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure possession back for his team at the centre of the park. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is full of energy and running in the middle of the park.
The Dutch sensation can strike the ball with power from long range and has got the eye to set up some decent chances for his teammates in the final third. Gravenberch mainly operates as a defensive midfielder but can also function as a box-to-box midfielder if told to do so. He remains an important member of Liverpool’s squad.
Therefore, it makes no sense for Andoni Iraola to let Gravenberch leave this summer. He helped the Reds win the Premier League title last summer and could play an important role for them next season.
At 24, Gravenberch has his best years ahead of him. Hence, the Merseyside outfit simply cannot afford to lose him in this summer transfer window. Iraola would be better off keeping hold of him for the long term as he could help the Reds challenge for some major honours over the next few years.
