WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds earlier this evening.
The 32-year-old stopper has spent almost a decade with BK Häcken. She joined the club back in 2016 when they played under their former Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC identity. She has won two OBOS Damallsvenskan league titles and the Swedish Cup with the club.
On the international stage, Falk has been capped by Sweden on 39 occasions. She is the current squad’s most experienced goalkeeper.
After joining Liverpool on loan, Falk said “I’m very happy and very excited. It’s been a dream I’ve had to play in this league and this is a really big club, so I’m really happy.
“I think the environment here is amazing, it’s very cosy but it’s big and it has everything that you could need. It was a nice feeling just seeing everything.
“I always try to be myself and I am very vocal and driven, and I’ll just try to do the same things here that I have done before.”
Falk is Liverpool’s second signing of the January transfer window.
