It’s a big weekend for Liverpool, but the transfer news and speculation isn’t getting any quieter.
The Reds’ full focus will surely be on winning the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at Wembley tomorrow.
But as well as thinking about how to buy tickets for Liverpool vs Newcastle, fans in the modern age are always keeping an eye out for the latest news and gossip.
Luckily, we’ve got it all rounded up for you here, with LFC linked with some big names ahead of the summer…
Following recent links with Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, who they’ll be facing at Wembley tomorrow, there is now also speculation that Liverpool could be set to move for Julian Alvarez.
The Argentine only joined Atletico Madrid from Manchester City last summer, but he’s made a superb start to life in La Liga.
Liverpool are now apparently ready to try offering big money, possibly over £100m, to bring Alvarez back to English football next season.

Liverpool are also eyeing up a move for Genoa’s young midfield talent Morten Frendrup, CaughtOffside understands.
The Merseyside giants have been among the clubs to keep a close eye on Frendrup’s progress, with Genoa ready to sell the Denmark international for €30m.
Another midfielder being linked with Liverpool is Wolves star Joao Gomes, who is said to be close to a move to Anfield for €60m, according to reports in Brazil.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool will sign both Gomes and Frendrup, especially as they already have a lot of options in the middle of the park.
If one or more new midfielders end up joining, Liverpool will surely offload Wataru Endo and perhaps another player in that area of their squad.
Finally, LFC striker Darwin Nunez has offered himself to Barcelona in a surprise move ahead of the summer.
While it makes sense that the Uruguay international’s future is in some doubt, it’s perhaps hard to imagine a club like Barca being interested in him.
Nunez has largely flopped at Liverpool and it remains to be seen how easy it will be for them to find a buyer for him this summer.
