In a recent post on X, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler urged his old club to move in for AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic. The former Premier League forward encouraged the Reds to sign the United States international in this summer transfer window.

Pulisic’s Impressive Numbers In Serie A

Pulisic managed to catch the eye at times with his performances on the right side of AC Milan’s attack in the previous campaign. The 27-year-old banged in ten goals and grabbed four assists in 34 matches for the Italian outfit last season in all competitions.

The United States talent is currently among the best wide players in his homeland. Hence, Liverpool would do well to bring him back to England this off-season.

His current contract at San Siro will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for the Reds to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Will Pulisic Be A Good Option For Liverpool?

Pulisic can shoot the ball with venom from long range and has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.

The United States talent is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. Pulisic is primarily a right-winger but can also function as a left-sided wide player or play in the number ten position if required. He already knows the Premier League well from his time at Chelsea and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Merseyside club.

We can expect Pulisic to inject more firepower into Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola’s frontline. He is good enough to compete for a regular starting spot at the Merseyside club in the coming seasons.

At 27, Pulisic has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a decent option for the Reds to consider in this transfer window. He will serve as a good budget replacement for Mohamed Salah at the Merseyside club. Furthermore, Pulisic would help the Reds compete across all fronts over the next few years. Hence, Iraola would be wise to listen to Fowler’s advice by launching a move for the United States international before the end of this transfer window.
