The future of Nicolas Jackson remains one of the most exciting topics on the international transfer market. After FC Bayern decided against signing him permanently, the Senegalese international could now end up in Serie A.
It has been clear for several months now that Nicolas Jackson has no future at FC Bayern. The forward was loaned to Munich from Chelsea FC in the summer of 2025 to bolster the record champions’ attack.
Under certain conditions, a mandatory buyout clause could even have been triggered. However, this was ruled out early on, so the Munich club proceeded with its plans without the Senegalese player even during the season.
The existing purchase option will not be exercised either.
Statistically speaking, Jackson’s time at FC Bayern was by no means disappointing.
The striker scored eleven goals and set up four more. Nevertheless, this was not enough to convince the club’s management of a long-term partnership.
There had been speculation that Bayern might try to make a reduced offer to Chelsea. However, the London club reportedly continued to insist on a transfer fee of well over 60 million euros.
For Munich, such a deal was not financially feasible.
As a result, Jackson returned to Chelsea as planned following his loan.
The Blues are currently aiming to sell the forward permanently this summer. In doing so, the club’s management is also hoping for a boost from the World Cup.
Jackson is part of Senegal’s squad and could attract additional attention with strong performances on the big stage. Every goal would increase both his market value and the number of potential suitors.

One of these interested parties apparently comes from Italy. As reported by several Italian media outlets, including Calciomercato, Juventus Turin is considering signing the 25-year-old.
The Bianconeri are looking to bolster their offense and have a whole list of candidates. In addition to Jackson, Alexander Sørloth and Randal Kolo Muani are also being mentioned.
Negotiations have not yet begun in earnest, but the Chelsea player’s situation is being closely monitored in Turin.
The biggest hurdle for Juventus, however, is likely to be the financial situation. After the Old Lady failed to qualify for the Champions League, club officials must calculate transfer costs particularly carefully. Juventus is already showing restraint when it comes to other players they’re interested in.
