Future Chelsea star Emmanuel Emegha made his debut for the Netherlands against Poland on Friday night, and the Dutch media made an interesting observation about the striker.
The Dutch were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw, and are still yet to officially qualify for the World Cup next summer.
Chelsea fans may have had a eye on the game given Emegha was called up to the Dutch squad for the first time in his career.
Emegha will join Chelsea next summer from Strasbourg and has already penned a seven year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The 22-year-old scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season as the French club secured qualification for the Conference League.
Emegha has started the season well with six goals and two assists in eight appearances in all competitions, form which has seen him make his international debut.

Emegha has signed a seven year contract at Chelsea.
The striker was on the bench against Poland and didn’t make it onto the pitch until he replaced Memphis Depay with the game approaching injury time.
Emegha didn’t get much of a chance to show what he can do, but the Dutch media made an interesting point about the forward after the game.
“Things need to improve, was the general sentiment at the Dutch national team,” Dutch outlet NOS Voetbal wrote.
“Yet, there was one player who wasn’t affected by the grumpy mood tonight.
“Emanuel Emegha cherished his debut for the Dutch national team.
“And as far as he was concerned, it could have lasted much longer.”
Emegha has been a success in France, and it will be interesting to see how he continues to develop across the course of the season.
His six goals in all competitions rank him ahead of Chelsea’s current strikers, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Marc Guiu.
