Lorient beat a below-par OM 2-0 on Saturday to stretch their Ligue 1 home unbeaten run to 13 matches on matchday 30.

As reported by L'Équipe, the party mood at Le Moustoir has become a near-weekly staple over the past two years, crowned by a centenary mural of 56 club figures that features long-time announcer Didier Le Botmel and his celebratory line.

After suffering only one defeat in Ligue 2 last season, the promoted side have maintained those standards in the top flight, even after a 1-7 setback against Lille on matchday 3.

The latest win joins home victories over Rennes 4-0, Monaco 3-1, Lyon 1-0 and Lens 2-1, plus a draw with Paris-SG 1-1. Coach Olivier Pantaloni credited extra motivation in prestige fixtures, clinical finishing and the backing of a fervent crowd.

Players feel the surge too, with Panos Katseris saying the team believe they can beat anyone at Le Moustoir. The Greek full-back also netted his first goal of the season.

The kop unfurled a banner saluting their departing coaches, reading “Pantaloni - Cahuzac, immense respect for the work accomplished”. Pantaloni said the gesture moved him, adding that a season rich in emotion and remarkable results has been powered by supporters who help make Le Moustoir a formidable home.
