Lucas Paquetá pledges to help Brazil after World Cup call-up | OneFootball

Carlo Ancelotti has named Brazil's World Cup squad, with Flamengo's Lucas Paquetá among the picks.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Paquetá said he is finding his place again and is in a good moment, stressing he always makes himself available to help.

He added that Ancelotti knows his qualities and has set out where he sees him, and he hopes to contribute by doing his best on or off the pitch.

Alongside Paquetá, Flamengo team-mates Danilo, Alex Sandro and Léo Pereira are also set to represent Brazil. The quartet will report next week to begin preparations for a friendly against Panama on 31 May at the Maracanã.

Before World Cup preparations start, Paquetá and the other call-ups remain focused on Flamengo. They face Estudiantes (ARG) in the fifth round of the Libertadores group stage at the Maracanã on Wednesday, 20 May, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time.
