Luis Advíncula ends Boca contract and returns to Alianza Lima

Luis Advíncula has terminated his Boca Juniors contract and will continue his career with Alianza Lima, returning after 11 years abroad.
According to Sitiboca.com.ar, the Peru international attended Boca Predio on Wednesday to say goodbye before linking up with the Lima side, who are in pre-season in Uruguay.
The 35-year-old had a deal until the end of 2026 and, as outlined weeks ago, was set to see out his final year at the club. In recent days he spoke with Juan Román Riquelme and Marcelo Delgado to request an early termination for family reasons, a request accepted by the board.
Advíncula joined Boca in 2021 from Rayo Vallecano. He made 169 competitive appearances, scored six goals, provided 14 assists and won four domestic titles, including the 2022 Supercopa Argentina.
The move closes a five-season spell with the Xeneize, his second stint in Argentine football after a 2016 spell at Newell’s Old Boys.
Capped more than 100 times by Peru, he began at Juan Aurich then spent four seasons with Sporting Cristal, who had also shown interest in this window.
