Luís Godinho likely to referee FC Porto v Benfica clash

The Arbitration Council of the FPF announced this Thursday the appointments for the 7th round of the Betclic League. Given these choices, it stands out the high probability of Luís Godinho being the chosen name for the classic match between FC Porto and Benfica, in the 8th round.

Fábio Veríssimo has now been designated for Arouca-FC Porto and João Gonçalves for Benfica-Gil Vicente, so neither of them will be able to referee the dragons and the eagles in the following round. With João Pinheiro at the U-20 World Cup, the referees of higher status pointed for a duel of this size are Luís Godinho (who will be in Estoril-Sporting) and, as an alternative, António Nobre.
