Leeds United striker Lukas Nmecha hailed the club’s travelling support in the USA after scoring the winner against Sunderland.
Handed his first start of the summer, the 27-year-old struck after eight minutes as Daniel Farke’s side beat the Black Cats at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey.
It was United’s second of three friendlies on their American tour, six days after the 3-2 loss to Wrexham at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
"Definitely. I'm loving hearing the American accent from Leeds fans at the minute. It's quite strange. It's a strange thing," he told LUTV.
"But the fans have been great. They were loud today, it felt like there were only Leeds fans here to be honest so it was quite nice."
