Lyon submit €3.5m bid to Stoke City for Jun-ho Bae, but… | OneFootball

Olympique Lyonnais are reported to have submitted a bid of €3.5m to Stoke City for Jun-ho Bae (22), according to Foot Mercato.

Having already agreed to join Les Gones, the South Korean is now just waiting for the go-ahead from his club’s management to sign for his new side. To make this happen, OL still need to increase their bid, whilst the Potters are reportedly expecting an offer of just under €6m to agree to let their player go, whose contract runs until 2027.

It is a matter of figures that could soon be resolved, with Les Rouge et Bleu potentially speeding up the process so that Jun-ho might be available to face Sparta Prague in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Having started 33 of the 45 matches he played last season across all competitions (scoring three goals and providing three assists), the attacking midfielder could thus become the fifth signing in what has been a busy transfer window for OL.
