According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Manchester City are set to sign Mahamadou Sangaré (18) from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year contract. The striker will be signing his first professional contract and has passed his medical.
Sangaré was unable to gain any game time with the first team during his time at PSG, but made 46 appearances and scored 42 goals in the underage brackets this season. Sangaré is not the only teenager to leave the newly crowned European champions for pastures new ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fellow striker, Oumar Camara (18), has also recently left PSG, with the teenager turning down a professional contract in order to sign with Vitória de Guimarães. He had been linked with a move to Rangers, but that deal was scuppered after the club took on new owners and installed a new sporting director.
