It was a busy end to the winter transfer window for RC Strasbourg Alsace, who welcomed David Datro Fofana and Aaron Anselmino during the final hours of the window.

The Ligue 1 club are already preparing for the summer window. BlueCo will continue their policy of acquiring the brightest prospects in world football, and as per a report from Sky Sports Germany, they have now set their sights on Mainz’s Kacper Potulski (18).

Potulski is featuring regularly in the Bundesliga for Mainz, playing 515 in Germany’s top-flight, whilst also playing a prominent role in the club’s UEFA Europa Conference League campaign.

Two Premier League clubs and three Serie A sides in for Potulski

The Poland youth international’s contract at Mainz runs until the summer of 2028, however, he has now come on to BlueCo’s radar. The consortium, who own Chelsea and Strasbourg, often share assets between the two clubs, with the aforementioned Fofana and Anselmino joining from Stamford Bridge. Potulski could be the latest to be bought by the consortium with a long-term view to a place in the Chelsea team, via Strasbourg.

However, BlueCo are not the only interested party. AC Milan, Internazionale, Como, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Brentford are all also in the race.
