Olympique de Marseille faces Stade Rennais this Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m. (GMT), in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France (2025-2026 season).

Marseille without Aguerd for tonight's clash with Rennes

Roberto De Zerbi has announced the list of 20 players selected for this encounter. The squad notably misses Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd, who had only just returned to the group after the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Moroccan international is suffering from an adductor injury picked up during the last training session. As a precaution, the medical staff has advised resting him to avoid any aggravation, especially with the busy fixture schedule.

According to several French media outlets, Aguerd experienced muscle pain and missed Monday's training session, which prompted the technical staff to sideline him for this showdown against Rennes.

It's worth noting that the "Atlas Lions" defender has already featured in 18 matches for the Marseille club this season, delivering solid performances that have contributed to the team's defensive stability.
