Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all dominated in emphatic fashion in the fourth round of the Women’s FA Cup.
Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 5-0, with Sam Kerr scoring twice against the WSL 2 side.
Manchester City, six points clear at the top of the WSL, hit Bournemouth for six as they won 6-0. Laura Coombs and Vivianne Miedema both bagged braces as City turned on the style against the National League Southern Premier Division side.
Despite serious struggles in the league, Liverpool were able to put that out of their minds for a day as they beat the London Bees 6-0.
Gareth Taylor’s side are dead bottom of the WSL and have not yet won a game, so it will be a big confidence boost for them to have won their first game in any competition since November.
Manchester United beat Burnley 5-0, and there were five different goalscorers. Maya Le Tissier opened the scoring in the second minute and the result never looked in doubt after that.
Arsenal beat Aston Villa 2-0 to return to winning ways after their stalemate against Manchester United last weekend in the WSL.
Kim Little and Stina Blackstenius were on the scoresheet for Renee Slegers’ side in what was a comfortable win.
The draw for the fifth round takes place this week and can be watched live on the official Adobe Women’s FA Cup YouTube channel, or on the TNT Sports Football and Channel 4 Sport YouTube channels.
There are 16 clubs now remaining in the competition.
