Man City earn monthly WSL award double again | OneFootball

Manchester City City have scooped both the WSL Player and Manager of the Month awards for a second time in a row.

Back in November Kerstin Casparij and Andrée Jeglertz were given the awards with the Citizens having an excellent 2025/26 campaign so far.

This month, Jeglertz has again been named the league's best manager after big victories over Leicester City, Aston Villa, and West Ham United which ended with a total of 14 goals scored and two conceded.

Khadija Shaw was responsible for half of those goals, netting twice against the Foxes, scoring four against Villa, and another in the win over West Ham making her an obvious choice for December's best player.

City now have a commanding six-point lead over champions Chelsea but have a busy January with games against Everton and London City Lionesses in the league as well as an FA Cup clash with third-tier Bournemouth and a League Cup semi-final with Chelsea.
