Manchester City are 'pushing hard' to sign Moroccan teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi according to reports.
The Lille midfielder is still just 18 years old but has a hugely impressive World Cup campaign that has drawn even more suitors his way.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, City are particularly keen on signing Bouaddi, who still has three years left on his contract at Lille.
Any deal is expected to cost around €100 million (approx £85 million) and would be another big midfield arrive after the Citizens already splashed out £116 million on signing Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
It is now up to Bouaddi to make a decision on where his future lies but he will likely be keen on a regular game time after featuring 42 times for Lille in all competitions last season.
