Manchester City are looking to keep John Stones at the club for at least a further two seasons with talks set to open over a new contract.
The English defender's current deal expires at the end of the 2025/26 season with both sides looking to extend.
According to Mirror Sport, 31-year-old Stones is looking to sign on for a further two seasons at the Etihad Cub.
Stones first joined City from Everton in the summer of 2016 and has since enjoyed a trophy-filled stint at the club. In total, the Barnsley-born defender has played 282 games for the Citizens, chipping in with 19 goals, primarily from defence.
