Paris Saint-Germain faced a challenging situation when they found themselves trailing 2-0 to Manchester City early in the second half. However, the capital club showed resilience, roaring back with four unanswered goals to secure a thrilling 4-2 victory.
The breakthrough came in the 50th minute when Jack Grealish gave City the lead, capitalizing on a loose ball in the box to score. Just moments later, things looked even grimmer for PSG. Erling Haaland extended City’s advantage, scoring a quick-fire second with a left-footed shot from close range that beat the goalkeeper to the bottom corner.
But PSG wasn’t ready to give up. Ousmane Dembélé sparked their comeback, pulling one back to make it 2-1. Soon after, Bradley Barcola leveled the score, finding the back of the net to make it 2-2. From that point, PSG took control of the match.
In the 78th minute, João Neves put PSG ahead with a close-range header following a beautifully executed set piece. To cap off the thrilling comeback, Gonçalo Ramos sealed the win, scoring a vital insurance goal that was confirmed by VAR after a brief review.
