Team news

The line-ups will be released in the next five minutes, so here’s a reminder of the early team news...

Rodri is again doubtful for this match after four games out with a groin injury, while Abdukodir Khusanov missed the win against Brentford due to a knock. Nathan Ake is likely to once again deputise.

Palace forward Evann Guessand could return to the squad after training with the team this week, following eight matches on the sidelines. Borna Sosa, Eddie Nketiah and Chieck Doucoure remain absent.

When could Arsenal win the Premier League? Remaining title race fixtures compared to Man City

Arsenal have closed in on the Premier League title with a dramatic late win over West Ham ensuring they remain in control of their own destiny.

Leandro Trossard struck late on to earn Mikel Arteta’s side three points at the London Stadium – but only after the video assistant referee (VAR) overturned an apparent equaliser by Callum Wilson for a foul on David Raya.

Manchester City had closed the gap to just two points at the top of the table on Saturday with a victory over Brentford, and still have a game in hand, but know they will need Arsenal to slip up if they are to overhaul their title rivals.

Previous meetings: Crystal Palace 1-0 Man City, 2025 FA Cup Final

By far the most famous recent meeting between these two sides came in the FA Cup final last season, where Palace met City at Wembley hoping to land their first ever major honour.

City unsurprisingly dominated early on but they were left shocked when a superb Palace counter ended with Eberechi Eze sweeping a great finish past Ortega to give Palace the lead on 16 minutes.

Controversy soon came as Dean Henderson avoided getting a red card despite clearly handling the ball outside of his area and potentially denying a goalscoring opportunity.

City were enraged but they soon had a golden chance to get back into it as Bernardo Silva won a penalty in the 36th minute. However, they were left in yet more anger as Henderson saved it, a man who perhaps shouldn’t have been on the pitch denying them an equaliser.

And in the end it was enough to win the FA Cup in the most dramatic of circumstances, with Eze, Wharton, Mateta and co. delivering Palace’s first ever major trophy at Wembley.

What the managers said

Palace boss Oliver Glasner said there has been "a great feeling and a great mood" around the club since progressing to the Europa Conference League final, and his side want to “show their best football” in the final games of the season.

On how he felt after the club’s Premeir League survival was confirmed, the Austrian explained: “Nothing changes to be honest. We still want to improve our game, do better, and show the best football we can play. This is the standards we have created here. We are not just playing for ourselves, we are playing to see the best of every player and best of Crystal Palace. It is more important than just the points."
