Leeds return to Premier League action at Manchester United on Monday at eight pm, with injuries mounting after Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final win at West Ham. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, updates leave 11 players out or doubtful and four now back.
Michael Carrick’s side have not played since before the international break and will have had 23 days without a game by the Old Trafford kick-off.
Winger Patrick Dorgu remains a doubt after a January hamstring injury. He is training individually at Carrington and travelled to Dublin to continue rehabilitation, and involvement would be a major surprise.
Harry Maguire is out, suspended after his red card at Bournemouth. Matthijs de Ligt is a major doubt, he has not played since November due to a back problem, there is no timescale, and Carrick said they are trying to get him back as quickly as possible.
For Leeds, Anton Stach sustained an ankle ligament injury at West Ham, and Farke said a May return is more realistic than later this month.
Joe Rodon also suffered an ankle injury early in the second half at West Ham and has been ruled out. Farke indicated April involvement for Rodon and Stach is unlikely, April appearances would be a bonus, and May is the realistic target.
Dan James, absent at West Ham, has an adductor strain and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks. Farke said he will miss the Manchester United game after suffering the strain in the session before the tie.
