Man United credited with interest in Barcelona defender | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made his way onto the watchlist of the transfer team at Manchester United.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Andreas Christensen as the player in question.

Danish international Christensen, for his part, could yet be on the move before the month is out.

With Ronald Araújo having come to the definitive decision to stay put, the Dane has been labelled by some as the odd man out in a talent-filled group of central defensive options in Hansi Flick’s squad.

And, should the Barcelona brass ultimately come to the decision to sell, then one potential suitor could well come in the form of the aforementioned Manchester United.

As per Sport, the Red Devils have been credited with a recent interest in Christensen, meaning a January offer by way of Old Trafford is not out of the question.
