In the annals of Premier League lore, fans have the pick of the litter when it comes to naming strikers who took the world by storm.
You have the usual suspects, of course, and you already know who they are without having to name them, but there remains a cadre of gifted footballers who so often fly under the radar. Dimitar Berbatov is one of those players.
The Bulgarian folk hero spent four highly successful seasons at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, and at the very least, is fondly remembered in the northwest of England.
Berbatov recently recounted one of his most memorable goals for United when being interviewed by the Premier League, capping a wonderful team goal against Blackburn 14 years ago to the day.
Now retired, Berbatov finished his career as the joint all-time leading goalscorer for his country (48) while boasting the highest goals/match average (0.62) among the top 10.
