PSG have looked strong in matchups against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal, a run that could boost the club’s appeal to English players, especially as more Premier League talent explores opportunities abroad.
In January, CaughtOffside reported that PSG were monitoring Morgan Rogers. His performances against Manchester City, Newcastle, and Brighton have reportedly impressed the club’s scouts.
Rogers’ pace, quick feet, and creativity are said to have drawn attention from PSG. Still, Aston Villa have made it clear they have no intention of letting the winger leave.
The Independent previously reported that Chelsea have also identified Rogers as a summer target. The 22-year-old is enjoying a breakout season in the Premier League, and interest in him is growing.
Villa manager Unai Emery wants to keep Rogers at the club, but financial pressures tied to profit and sustainability rules could force a decision if a major offer comes in. Rogers is under contract at Villa Park through June 2030.

Amid the rumors, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey believes that while Rogers has drawn interest from Liverpool and other clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. Nonetheless, Bailey believes that Rogers might turn down a move to Merseyside and choose to stay at Aston Villa instead.
“Liverpool love Morgan Rogers, there’s no getting away from that,” Bailey said. “But it’s highly unlikely that Rogers leaves for more than one reason. With a lot of these players, the feedback I’m getting from the players’ camps is that they are very mindful that we’re in a World Cup cycle now.
“So someone like Rogers…if he leaves now, if he goes to Liverpool for instance, then playing devil’s advocate and it doesn’t work out, he’s not going to the World Cup.”
Fichajes previously reported that new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim views Rogers as a key addition. The club are willing to do whatever it takes to bring him to Old Trafford. United has already made a substantial €80 million offer, hoping to finalize the deal before the summer transfer window closes.
It remains to be seen whether Aston Villa can hold onto their star player this summer, or if an irresistible offer will force their hand.
