RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko caught Paris Saint-Germain’s eye last summer as the club searched for a reliable goal scorer to replace Kylian Mbappe. With Randal Kolo Muani likely heading out this summer, PSG may finally secure a No. 9 who has earned Luis Enrique’s approval.
The Slovenian forward, whose contract with Leipzig runs through 2029 and is valued between €70 million and €75 million, enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 season, scoring 18 goals and adding two assists in 42 appearances.
Although PSG’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, considered several striker options, he ultimately decided against signing a new No. 9. Sesko has continued his strong form into the 2024-25 season, netting 17 goals and providing five assists in 34 matches across all competitions.

Sky Sports Germany reports that Manchester United, Tottenham, and Arsenal are interested in signing Sesko, with the 21-year-old having an €80 million release clause that can be activated this summer.
Sport Bild recently reported that RB Leipzig might have to sell Sesko if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in the 2025-26 season, which would be good news for the clubs monitoring the goal-scorer.
After a 2-2 draw with Heidenheim last weekend, Leipzig dropped to sixth in the league. If they don’t make the top four, they may be forced to sell Sesko to address the financial gap.
