Manchester United Women striker Geyse Ferreira has completed a season-long loan move to American side Gotham FC.
Geyse has been the subject of intense speculation about her future over the past few months after describing her situation in England as "agonising and lonely" back in January.
The Brazilian's agent accused United of trying to force her out of the club on the day of her brother's funeral, an accusation that United subsequently denied.
But the South American forward has finally found the exit door with United confirming a switch Stateside.
The 26-year-old has penned a loan move to the New Jersey-based side until the end of their campaign which runs until November.
"The loan deal is important to Geyse as we continue to have her wellbeing at the centre of our decision-making," said interim head of women's football Matt Johnson.
"We wish her well with Gotham.”
