Manchester City and Aston Villa have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Today’s match is the final match of the 2025-26 season, and it is a special one for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola, John Stones, and Bernardo Silva will all feature in their final match for the club. Today’s post match events will be special and emotional but there is a match to get out of the way before three City legends say goodbye.

The expectation is that John Stones and Bernardo Silva will start in their final games for Manchester City. Today’s match is their day, so they should both start. Outside of those two, Pep Guardiola does have a full squad to choose from for today’s match. Hopefully, City can send three club legends off in style. However, they’ll face an Aston Villa side that won the Europa League only days ago and they are a quality outfit as they have displayed throughout this season.
