Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City players will don a new sponsor on the back of their match shirts, the club have announced in a statement this week.

The move marks another notable commercial development for Manchester City, who continue to strengthen partnerships , and capitalising on domestic cup competitions drawing significant attention during the business end of the campaign.

From a commercial perspective, the agreement reflects City’s ongoing strategy of aligning with globally recognised brands that can enhance both fan engagement and operational innovation.

Under the guidance of Pep Guardiola, the club have enjoyed sustained success on the pitch, which continues to drive strong interest from major international partners off it as well as broadening the club’s global fanbase.

Now, as announced by Manchester City this week, Revolut has become the Official Back of Shirt Partner for both the men’s and women’s first teams at the Etihad Stadium in a multi-year agreement.

It is detailed that the Revolut brand will feature on the back of the Men’s team playing shirts for domestic cup matches and across WSL and cup fixtures for Manchester City Women, in addition to selected training wear.

Speaking as part of the announcement, Senior Vice President of Partnerships for the City Football Group (CFG), Peter Laundy said, “Since early 2025 – when Revolut marked their first investment in women’s football by becoming a partner of Manchester City Women – we have enjoyed working together to deliver special moments for our fans and Revolut customers.

“We’re incredibly proud to have expanded that relationship today and be the chosen partner for Revolut as the brand looks towards men’s football.

“Through this collaboration and the integration of Revolut expertise and technology, we’ll look to improve fan experience and operations and offer unique opportunities for future engagement with the Club.”

The latest partnership builds on an existing relationship between Manchester City and Revolut, which has already seen a number of fan-focused initiatives rolled out since the two first began working together in women’s football.

Those collaborations have helped strengthen engagement on matchdays and across digital platforms, setting the foundations for a broader agreement.

For the club, the expanded sponsorship is another example of how City and CFG continue to integrate commercial innovation alongside sporting success, and supporters can now expect to see the new branding take centre stage during some of the season’s most decisive fixtures including March’s Carabao Cup Final against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium.
