Manchester City have held talks to sign Real Madrid midfielder and France international Eduardo Camavinga (23), as per a report from Marca.
Real Madrid are looking to offload the former Stade Rennais player, whose drop in form in recent months saw him miss out on Les Bleus’ squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. José Mourinho, recently appointed manager of Los Blancos, does not necessarily count on the Frenchman heading into the coming season.
Manchester City are set to complete the signing of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest in what would be a record fee for a Premier League club, but the club, now managed by Enzo Maresca following the departure of Pep Guardiola, are also attentive to market opportunities.
Camavinga is seen as just that, given their openness to facilitate a deal this summer. Marca understands that there have now been direct talks between Manchester City and Real Madrid, with the latter offering the midfielder to the former.
