In images shared on Manchester City’s X account, Ruben Dias has been pictured training. That is good news as the Manchester City defence could do with having Dias back on the pitch. Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake have carried the defensive load for Pep Guardiola’s side in recent matches and they could do with their defensive leader being back on the pitch.

Ruben Dias has been out with injury since Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in December. He has missed City’s past six matches. Dias did return to training last week and it appears that he is getting closer to a return to the pitch. That could come this weekend based on the images shared today.
