Manchester City ‘monitoring’ Dortmund’s Nmecha

Manchester City are closely monitoring Borussia Dortmund’s Felix Nmecha and hold strong interest, according to Sky Germany.

Initial talks have already taken place between BVB sporting director Kehl and Nmecha’s new agents about a possible contract extension.

Dortmund retain the upper hand as the 25-year-old is under contract until 2028. He earns about €5-6 million a year and the club are prepared to increase it.

Nmecha’s long-term ambition is to play in the Premier League. For now, he is fully focused on Dortmund.

A former City academy player, he left the Citizens' U-23 side for VfL Wolfsburg in July 2021. He moved to Dortmund for around €30 million in July 2023.
