Furthermore, Crook reports that City are just one of several clubs interested in triggering the release clause in Semenyo’s contract next month. Furthermore, Crook reports that Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are also keen to sign Semenyo. Based on Alex Crook’s report it seems that City are wasting no time in making their move for one of the most dangerous attacking players in the Premier League.

It is easy to see why City would be so eager to quickly conclude a deal to sign Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

It is easy see why City would be so eager to quickly seal a deal for Semenyo for a host of reasons. The first is that several of Manchester City’s attacking players are unavailable. Omar Marmoush is currently away on international duty with Egypt. City has no backup for Erling Haaland as it stands currently. Antoine Semenyo could fill that hole. Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb are both injured which further depletes City’s attacking stocks. Antoine Semenyo could slot into Pep Guardiola’s squad as a viable option to play on either wing with his versatility.
