Swansea City do not look likely to be the destination for Manchester City midfielder Jacob Wright, although he is still looking to move, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in the winter transfer window.

Wright is looking to move as he wants to clock regular game time at senior level, with the likelihood of doing so at Manchester City slim.

It had seemed that the midfielder would be heading to bolster Swansea’s options, but it ‘doesn’t look like’ he will be signing for the Welsh giants.

Wright still wants to move before the window closes, however it is not likely to be to Swansea.

The midfielder has clocked regular game time in the Premier League 2 with Manchester City’s Under-21s this term.

He has also been in and around Pep Guardiola’s matchday squads.

Wright was an unused substitute for five of Manchester City’s Champions League league phase games and also on the bench five times in the Premier League.
