Manchester City are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain youth player Mahamadou Sangaré (18), according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
Sangaré played a prominent part in PSG’s UEFA Youth League campaign this season, netting an impressive eight goals in just six games whilst also registering two assists in that time. However, the France youth international is seemingly unwilling to stick aroun and wait for first-team appearances at the Parc des Princes.
Yet to make his first senior appearance, the prolific goalscorer (33 goals in 35 games for PSG’s U19s) looks set to leave upon the expiry of his contract this summer. He is not short of suitors. As per Hawkins, Sangaré is garnering plenty of interest from the Bundesliga but also from Manchester City.
The Cityzens would look to sign Sangaré before then loaning him out to Ligue 2 side ESTAC Troyes, who are also part of the City Group. For now, however, the deal is not advanced.
