New reports looking into the off-field affairs of Phil Foden have revealed that the Manchester City star has sold a property in Cheshire this month.

Prestbury remains a popular area among Premier League footballers and celebrities, known for its privacy, security, and multi-million-pound estates, and Foden’s former home fit squarely into that mould.

The Manchester City star’s now-sold property was a modern four-bedroom residence equipped with its own cinema room, indoor pool, gym, bar, hot tub, and a sizeable garden complete with family spaces including a swing and trampoline.

Positioned on a private road with an electric gate, the property also formed part of a neighbourhood that includes well-known names such as Noddy Holder, David Dickinson, and the family of Foden’s former Manchester City teammate Kyle Walker.

Even with the luxurious features and sought-after location, the sale took longer than expected, although a new update has emerged which will no doubt close the page on one chapter of the Foden family’s life.

According to the information of MailSport, Phil Foden has now sold his former home for nearly £3 million after having to take a price cut, with the property having been on the market for more than six months before it attracted a buyer.

It is detailed that the England international had moved out of the house last year after a party led to police being called, placing an initial £3.25 million price tag on the home located in Prestbury, Cheshire back in April.

However, with the property failing to sell, Foden and his estate agents dropped the price to just over £2.9 million, accepting an offer close to that price in a new update.

Phil Foden has reportedly already moved into a more isolated home in the countryside with his family, but still remains within commuting distance of Manchester City’s City Football Academy training ground in the east of the city.

Phil Foden’s relocation to a more secluded countryside home aligns with a broader trend among high-profile footballers opting for quieter, more private living arrangements away from busy residential hotspots.

The switch suggests a desire for additional space and tranquillity as his family grows and his profile continues to rise on and off the pitch.

Looking ahead, the midfielder’s move is unlikely to impact day-to-day routine, with the new property within reach of City’s training base. As contract discussions also progress behind the scenes and Foden continues to flourish under Pep Guardiola, the sale marks another personal milestone in a year that has seen him take significant steps back to his blistering best.
