In a recent report, Sport mentioned that Manchester United are among the clubs hoping to land Real Madrid ace Eduardo Camavinga. It has been claimed that the Red Devils would have to compete with Juventus, Chelsea and Liverpool in the race to sign the French midfielder in this transfer window.

Camavinga’s Impressive Form In La Liga

Camavinga had a solid campaign at the Madrid club after he put in a handful of impressive displays for them in the middle of the park. The 23-year-old found the back of the net twice and earned one assist in 43 matches for Los Blancos last season in various competitions.

The French sensation is currently one of the most talented midfielders in La Liga. Therefore, Man United would do well to get a deal over the line for him later this year.

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will expire in the summer of 2029. Hence, the Red Devils would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Camavinga in this transfer period.

Will Camavinga Be A Good Fit For Manchester United?

Camavinga loves a tackle and can sense the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive and excels at playing his way out from midfield.

The French talent can even contribute by scoring the odd goal for his team. Camavinga is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a left-back or as a defensive midfielder if required. However, there are some concerns over whether he can adapt to the high intensity of Premier League football if the Red Devils manage to win the race for his services.

We can expect Camavinga to add more bite and steel to Man United boss Michael Carrick’s midfield. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford in the coming years.

At 23, Camavinga has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a good fit for Carrick’s needs in the long run. He will also help the Mancunian club compete for some major trophies in the future. Thus, Man United would be wise to step up their efforts to sign him this summer.
