In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are hoping to land Aston Villa playmaker Morgan Rogers this summer. It is understood that the Red Devils are showing interest in acquiring the services of the English talent this off-season.
Rogers is having a decent campaign at the West Midlands club as he has put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The English attacker has been involved in 45 matches for Aston Villa this season, scoring ten times and earning seven assists in the process across multiple competitions.
The 23-year-old is currently among the best playmakers in the Premier League. Thus, Man United would do well to lure him to the Theatre of Dreams this summer.
His current contract at Villa Park will expire in the summer of 2031, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap in the upcoming transfer window.

Rogers is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for others around him on the offensive end of the field.
The English sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a winger on either flank if asked to do so by his manager. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Man United.
Rogers would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Michael Carrick’s attack. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford in the coming years.
At 23, Rogers has got a bright future ahead of him, which makes him a great option for the Red Devils to consider at the end of this campaign. He might even help Man United challenge for some major honours over the next few years. All in all, Carrick would be wise to go all out to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
