Manchester United have been handed a boost ahead of their Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils are looking to secure three consecutive league victories when they host the Seagulls following back-to-back wins over Sunderland and Liverpool.

Brighton have won all their last three games at Old Trafford but could be without creator-in-chief Kaoru Mitoma for the match.

The Japanese is a doubt for Saturday’s game due to an ankle issue, which could be good news for United.

Mitoma scored and assisted to help Brighton secure a 3-1 victory over Man United at Old Trafford, the last time the clubs met in January.

The Seagulls have yet to make a late decision on his availability, but he will likely miss the game.

The 28-year-old left-winger missed the last two matches with a left-ankle injury, and Man United will hope he is sidelined tomorrow.

The Red Devils will fancy their chances against Brighton even if Mitoma is available, given their impressive form over the last two games.

They will be desperate to prove that the wins over Sunderland and Liverpool were no flukes, and getting the better of the Seagulls tomorrow will be another step in the right direction.

The last time Man United won three Premier League games in a row was in February 2024, and manager Ruben Amorim will hope they can deliver this weekend.
