Manchester United confirmed on Wednesday that Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia will leave when their contracts expire at the end of June, according to L'Équipe.
United had already said in January that the Brazilian midfielder would depart at the end of the season after four seasons at the club. Signed from Real Madrid in 2022, Casemiro, 34, made 160 appearances and scored 26 goals, lifting the FA Cup in 2024 and the Carabao Cup in 2023.
Sancho’s exit was expected and is now confirmed. He joined from Dortmund in 2021 for around €85m. He then spent this season on loan at Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa, struggled to rediscover his level in Germany, and could return there.
Across five seasons he played 83 times for United and scored 12 goals. His sole trophy in that period was the 2023 Carabao Cup.
Malacia, 26, also struggled to establish himself, limited to 50 appearances across four seasons because of injuries. The left back won the 2023 Carabao Cup and his next destination has not been announced.
