Manchester United have identified Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi (18) as a potential option for the winter transfer window, according to a report from Sky Sports News. The 18-year-old has been identified as a player who could bolster the midfield options available to Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
Bouaddi is the latest player in Ligue 1 to impress at a young age and be linked with Europe’s elite clubs. Since making his debut at the age of 17, the France youth international has made 74 appearances for his formative club and become a key figure for Bruno Genesio at Les Dogues. His impressive performances have seen several clubs linked with his services, including the Manchester club.
United’s potential pursuit of the Lille midfielder is unlikely to be a straightforward one. Real Madrid and PSG are among a host of clubs interested in signing the Frenchman, creating a potential bidding war for his services.
