In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United have joined the race for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. It has been stated that the Red Devils would have to compete with Inter Milan in the race to land the French midfield ace this off-season.

Camavinga’s Recent Season In La Liga

Camavinga had a solid campaign at the Madrid club after he put in a string of impressive performances for them in the middle of the park. The France international registered two goals and picked up one assist in 43 matches for Los Blancos last season across multiple competitions.

The 23-year-old is currently one of the most talented central midfielders in La Liga. Thus, it is no wonder that Man United are in the running to land him later this year.

His current contract at the Madrid club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap this off-season.

Will Camavinga Be A Good Signing For Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick?

Camavinga loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a good passer as well from midfield.

The French sensation can even chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his side. Camavinga mainly operates as a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a defensive midfielder or as a left-back if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to bring him on board later this year.

We can expect Camavinga to bring more bite and steel to Man United boss Michael Carrick’s midfield department. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Theatre of Dreams next season.

At 23, Camavinga will only improve with each year, so Man United should focus on going all out to snap him up before the end of this transfer window. He will also help the Red Devils compete for some major honours over the next few years. With all things considered, Camavinga would be a great signing for the Mancunian giants this summer.
