“Alex Scott has many clubs surrounding this summer, but Bournemouth insist they want to keep the player, and they want to offer him a new contract.

“Let’s see if Bournemouth will be able to keep him, because one thing is to say that, one thing is in the next two months resist in case they receive big proposals.

“But Alex Scott is one of the players considered internally by Arsenal and by Man Utd.

“Both clubs like him.

“At the moment, from Bournemouth, is no – he is not leaving.

“But, in case they open doors to an exit for big money, we have to follow these two clubs keen eventually on Alex Scott.”

Scott’s Decent Form In The Premier League

Scott had a solid campaign at the English club as he produced a string of impressive displays for them in the middle of the park. The English talent registered four goals and secured one assist in 39 matches for the Cherries last season across multiple competitions.

The 22-year-old is currently among the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, Man United would do well to lure him to Old Trafford this summer.

His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to land him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Should Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick Get Scott On Board?

Scott is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to secure possession back for his team at the centre of the park. He usually clears the danger when required and is a good passer as well.

The English sensation can even chip in by scoring the odd goal for his team from midfield. Scott is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as a right-winger or as an attacking midfielder if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Man United.

Scott would bring more energy and dynamism to Michael Carrick’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming seasons.

At 22, Scott has got a bright future ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the Red Devils to consider this summer. Hence, Carrick should think about getting him on board soon.
