Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada has set the goal for the Red Devils to be Premier League champions by 2028 in Project 150.

It has been a difficult start to the season with Manchester United currently sitting 14th in the Premier League table.

The new-look Manchester United hierarchy recently met in London to discuss the future of Erik ten Hag and plans for Old Trafford, as they ponder the next move to bring back the glory days to the club.

Despite a tough start to the season, Manchester United legend David Beckham believes Sir Jim Ratcliffe will ultimately lead the Red Devils back to the glory days in years to come.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast, as quoted by the Mirror, Beckham said: “I really like Jim, you know, I’ve met him a few times over the years with a few mutual friends and I think that he’s a fan, and obviously he’s a great businessman as well, one of the best and one of the biggest.

“But I think more importantly the fans see that he cares, and I think that that’s a big part of it.

“I think obviously the fans had lost faith with the leadership over the years and obviously he really cares about, you know, what he wants to do and what he wants to create. So, hopefully, things will change, but these things take time.

“I think we have been quite patient as United fans over the years, but we want those good old days back. We want those days back, and the sooner the better.”
