Manchester United, Monaco and Lyon keeping tabs on Leipzig centre-back El-Chadaille Bitshiabu | OneFootball

RB Leipzig centre-back El-Chadaille Bitshiabu (20) will be a man in demand this winter transfer window given Manchester United, AS Monaco and Lyon are looking to sign him, according to a report from L’Equipe. The Frenchman joined Leipzig from PSG over a five-year deal in 2023, but he only featured five times for Leipzig this season, despite a remarkable last campaign with Die Roten Bullen, which made Leipzig considered the possibililty of a contract extension.

AS Monaco are reportedly interested in offering Bitshiabu a way back into Ligue 1 considered their injury crisis at the back reached a new low with Mohamed Salisu’s ACL injury. Les Monégasques would submit Leipzig a proposal to sign Bitshiabu on loan with no option to buy for the remainder of the Ligue 1 season. However, Lyon could do the same.

Lyon and Monaco are not the only interested parties in Bitshiabu. L’Equipe reports that Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the former PSG prospect. The two clubs would, unlike Monaco and Lyon, include an option to buy in their loan proposals.
