Juventus have offered Manchester United the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic as part of a swap deal involving Joshua Zirkzee.

The Italian side are interested in a deal to sign Zirkzee, who has struggled to make an impact at Manchester United since his €34m arrival from Bologna.

Zirkzee impressed under the management of ex-Bologna boss Thiago Motta last season, with the latter having departed to take charge at Juventus in the summer.

The forward scored 11 league goals to earn the Serie A Footballer of the Year award but has underwhelmed in English football. He has scored just four times in 27 games across all competitions.

Ruben Amorim this week suggested Zirkzee could leave Manchester United following an unhappy period with the club. The Dutch international was booed by the home supporters following his first-half substitution against Newcastle last month.

Juventus have now made their move as Motta seeks a reunion with Zirkzee. According to various outlets, the Italian side have offered Manchester United the chance to sign Vlahovic as part of the deal. Vlahovic has scored 40 goals in 91 league appearances for Juventus since signing from Fiorentina in a €70m deal three years ago.

However, Vlahovic has just 18 months on his current contract and has shown few signs of renewing. There are also reservations over the Serbian’s suitability to Motta’s tactics and Juventus are open to offloading his high wages from the squad.

Arsenal are long-term admirers of the forward having missed out on his signing to Juventus in January 2022. Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked as the French champions seek further firepower at the Parc des Princes.
