Manchester United are considering a move to bring Vanja Milinković-Savić back to the club, 10 years after the goalkeeper’s release.

Milinković-Savić is on the club’s radar as Manchester United consider replacements for Andre Onana, whose form has not convinced Ruben Amorim.

The Serbian shot-stopper has excelled in Serie A this season with Torino, where he leads all goalkeepers in the division for saves and expected goals prevented.

Manchester United are now weighing up a move for the 28-year-old, who was released at Old Trafford as a teenager.

Milinković-Savić spent a year with the Red Devils between 2014 and 2015 but was allowed to move on after failing to earn a work permit in England. He joined Lechia Gdańsk on a free transfer before a move to Torino in 2017.

The 6ft 8in goalkeeper, who is the younger brother of Al-Hilal midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić, has also won 19 caps for Serbia at international level.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Manchester United have opened initial talks with Torino to discuss the conditions of a deal. He is rumoured to have a release clause of €20m in his contract with the Italian side.
